Start with the work you want to improve

AI Readiness Check

Over three weeks, I review the work we agree, identify where it is slow and examine one or two areas more closely. We work out whether AI could help and estimate the potential benefit.

How the Check works

  1. 1

    Agree what to review

You choose the scope. We use a first meeting, questionnaire and interviews to find where work is slow.

  2. 2

    Examine the potential

We examine one or two areas more closely, compare the options and estimate potential benefits. I assess your people, ways of working and technology.

  3. 3

    Discuss the findings

We review the draft before I give you the final assessment and brief your decision-makers.

What I assess

AI ideas and value

The problem each idea would solve, the benefit you expect and how you would judge the result.

Organisational readiness

Who would do the work, the skills and guidance they need, and how you would manage risk and change.

Technology readiness

The information, tools, access, connections, purchasing and support the work would need.

What you get

The ratings show what is in place and what needs attention. Read them together: a gap in one area can affect the others.

  1. Readiness assessment

Findings and ratings for your ideas, organisation and technology, with reasons, uncertainty and what needs attention. The detailed review compares AI with other ways to improve the work.

  2. Brief for decision-makers

My recommendation for the decision you face, the alternatives and what would change my advice.

  3. Six-month plan

Actions for the next six months, with responsibilities, timing and what needs to happen first. If a step cannot go ahead, the plan explains what to do instead.
